XXIII. International Conference On Gas Discharges And Their Applications
28th August - 2nd September 2022 in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in Germany
The health and safety of our participants, employees, partners and the overall population is our main priority. Monitoring and anticipating that the next six month will most likely show no major changes in travel restrictions and issues for holding of major events regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently, the EMC of the conference—in close coordination with the LOC and supported by the ISC of the GD 2020—has decided that a shift of the 23rd International Conference on Gas Discharges and their Applications to 2022 is the reasonable course of action in order to be able to hold this conference as a presence event.
We announce the postponement of the 23rd International Conference on Gas Discharges and their Applications, originally scheduled to be held from 29th August - 3rd September 2021, the new dates being the 28th August to 2nd September 2022.
We wish to maintain the usual format of GD conferences: presented papers, plenary sessions, social programme, etc., which we know you are familiar with, and is the heart of any conference.
Due to the postponement, please note the following new deadlines:
- 22nd December 2021 - Abstract submission deadline
- 1st February 2022 - Notifications of abstract acceptance and paper invitations
- 30th March 2022 - Paper submission deadline
- until 31st May 2022 - Notification of paper acceptance
- 30th June 2022 - Early registration deadline
We are looking forward to your strong continued support for a successful 23rd International Conference on Gas Discharges and their Applications in 2022 in Greifswald.
For any questions, feel free to contact us directly at the conference e-mail address (see on the right side). In the upcoming weeks we will update the information on the website accordingly.
On behalf of the EMC and LOC of the GD 2020, with the support of the ISC.
